The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially released the shortlist for the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Nigeria’s major paramilitary agencies.

CBT Shortlist — 30 Oct 2025

Per a statement issued by the Secretary of the Board, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril, shortlisted candidates are to verify their names and check the details of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the following agencies:

  • Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
  • Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
  • Federal Fire Service (FFS)
  • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

From Thursday, 30 October 2025, applicants should visit the official recruitment portal to confirm whether they have been shortlisted and to obtain details of the CBT venue, date and time:

📥 How to download your examination slip (using your NIN & phone number)
  1. Visit the official recruitment portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
  2. Locate the “Check Shortlist” or “Download Slip” section on the portal.
  3. Enter your valid National Identification Number (NIN) and the phone number you used when you applied.
  4. Complete the on-screen security verification (captcha) and submit.
  5. The system will display your application ID and the exam slip details, including your centre, date and time. Download or print the slip immediately.
  6. Verify all details (date, time, venue) and keep the slip safe — you will be required to present it at the exam centre.

Note: Do not share your NIN or application details publicly. If you encounter errors, contact CDCFIB through the contact channels on the recruitment portal.
